▶️     How far is the subway from the flat?

 

The subway Charles de Gaulle Etoile is less than 2 minutes away.

You have the choice by subway line #1 to the Louvre, Beaubourg, Place des Vosges, and by line #2 to Montmartre or the Effeil Tower The RER A will take you to the Opera and Galeries Lafayettes. There is also 7 bus lines serving all of Paris, specially the balabus n° 73 to go directly to the left bank to museum d’Orsay. Also at this subway station you will be sure to have informations  in English about the ticket fare.

▶️     Does the large skylight have a curtain?

 

Yes, there is a large curtain taht can roll down to cover entire window

▶️     Is there a hair dryer and an iron in the apartment?

 

Yes it’s a hair dryer, a curler, and iron/ironing board. All are a very good quality product.

▶️ Is this a quiet apartment?

 

It is extremely quiet, as all the windows are on a courtyard. You are also at the top level, so you would not have noise from upstair. Some time you can have the song of a bird !!!

▶️ Do you have some recommandations about the Neighborhood?

 

There are wonderful bakeries, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, and the famous Rue Poncelet outdoor market. I made a special map see my web page http://www.locmyflatparis.com/details.html with all the most important shops around the flat, with, it’s more important the opening time. So the first day you will have enought informations to buy food a saturday, a sunday morning, or at night at 1 Am. About restaurants, You will find in the flat a selection of magazines about them.

▶️ Can we park nearby?

 

As a general rue, it is not at all recommended to have a car in Paris, but if need be, there is an underground public parking just in front of the flat. If you will need to rent a car to go outside of paris, in normandy for example it’s very easy to leave and go back to the flat with your car, by large avenue. I will show you the way. In Paris it’s another story, as parisian drivers are very nervous !!!!

▶️ Will someone meet us at the apartment when we arrive in Paris?

 

Yes. I will wait for you in front of the bulding, will show you how to use the flat during your stay, and will give you  2 keys of the flat.

▶️ Do we need to come with some supplies?

 

We will provide you, toilet paper;,tissues; soap, dishwashing and washing liquids, salt and pepper, oil, suggar, coffe filter, tea, etc. There is always enough beginning stock of supplies to start your vacation, and most guests will leave extra things behind before leaving (oil, coffee, coffee filters, sugar, condiments, etc., even alcohol). However, you will need to buy your own food supplies when you arrive, and you are expected to replace whatever you consume.

▶️ Do you provide bed linen, towels?

 

Yes, we will provided a full set of bed and bath linens

▶️ What’s about security deposit?

 

I almost invariably require a refundable security deposit in addition to rent. The amount of this deposit is 400$ (or equivallent in your curency) from 1 week to 4 weeks. I accept a bank check for the security deposit as It is extremely rare that I have to deducted the security deposit.

If you leave very early in the morning w’ll take an appointment the evening before to give you back your deposit.

▶️ What is your cancellation policy?

 

Cancellation of a confirmed reservation is a painful event for both owner and renter. The renter cancels because of some unexpected hardship; meanwhile the owner may have turned away rental opportunities and thus lost revenue. My cancellation provision are as follows: If notice of a cancellation is received by mail 60 days or more before arrival date, 50 percent of the initial deposit will be returned; if received 59 days or less before arrival, none of the deposit (50%) will be refunded.

▶️ Who takes cares of cleaning before and after we leave?

 

The property should be clean and ready for your arrival, unless you arrive early and the cleaning is still being performed. Concerning the final cleaning, you are not expected to do it, since it is included in your price. However, you are expected to leave the property in the same general condition as when you found it.

▶️ What is included in your price?

 

Everything: Final cleaning, sheets & towels, utilities, Internet access, local phone call, taxes, bank fees, etc.
